First, my clinic only looks a 60% rise, so you are good there. And I had betas drawn at 16dpo and 18dpo and 20dpo and they didn't double either. The second one almost doubled and the third one wasn't even a 60% rise (and they were all almost exactly 48 hours apart). I figured it was the end for sure. I was just waiting to start bleeding but I didn't. All those numbers didn't really mean anything in my case.
I know with your experiences that this is very discouraging, but don't get too down just yet. You had a good starting number and a nice rise, maybe things are just slowing down. You keep hoping and I will too.

I agree with your first poster. A good increase is 33% a day. I'm one of those 3 day doublers. It is a worry but try to just relax. You are doing great.
April 2008: Started Charting and Using the CB Fertility Montior
August 2008: had preliminary testing with my OB discovered slight hypothyroidism but all else was ok

April-July 2009: IUI's 3-6, BFN, with various treatments
July 10th 2009: Diagnosed with homozygous MTHFR C677T variant
August 14th 2009: Start lupron for IVF
August 27th 2009: Started Re.pronex and Go.nal F
September 7th 2009: Egg Retrieval, ICSI
September 10th 2009: Embryo Transfer

May 15th 2010: Our miracle is born!

ReplyDeleteFirst u/s isn't scheduled yet, I think they schedule it after the beta hits 2000.
